FMs of Ukraine, Norway discuss prospects of Ukrainian defense industry projects
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha, together with his Norwegian counterpart Espen Barth Eide, met with Ukrainian defense manufacturers Luch Design Bureau and Fire Point.
As part of Espen Barth Eide's visit, they held a meeting with the management of the Luch Design Bureau and Fire Point, well-known Ukrainian defense manufacturers. The parties coordinated efforts and discussed the current status and future prospects of key defense industry projects.
"Our discussion focused on strengthening our partnerships and advancing joint initiatives to enhance security and resilience. Strong international cooperation remains essential to counter Russia’s aggression and uphold shared values," Sybiha noted.
He added that he was pleased to receive a model of the Palanytsia missile from the director of the Luch Design Bureau, Oleh Korostelyov, as a symbol of shared commitment to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities through strategic partnership.
"We also received special presents from the Fire Point CTO Iryna Terekh—symbolic playing cards with pictures of FP missiles. Best proof that Ukraine does have cards," the minister wrote.
