Zelenskyy: I don't see dead end in negotiations yet
Work on the documents is ongoing, the Ukrainian side is in constant contact with the American side, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, adding that he does not yet see a "dead end" in the negotiations.
"I do not see a dead end yet. They are working on the documents. As I said, this is already a fairly trivial phrase: the last mile is even more difficult. Nevertheless, it is true. We have what we have. As for the talks, they are constant, and definitely not about a dead end," Zelenskyy told reporters on Tuesday.
He added that he had already spoken several times with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, who is in contact with the US President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
