Ukrainian Red Cross sets up support point in Kharkiv for victims of another Russian air strike
A Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) aid station is operating in Kharkiv at the site of yet another Russian combined missile and drone strike, which the enemy carried out on Monday evening.
“A support point is currently operating at the site, where people can have hot tea and warm up. The distribution of humanitarian assistance to those affected is also ongoing,” URCS said on Facebook Tuesday.
As reported, Russian armed forces carried out a combined attack (missile strikes and drones) on Kharkiv on the evening of January 26. Two people were injured.
The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kharkiv region, together with representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, provided assistance to people affected by the attack on Kharkiv. Volunteers also carried out door-to-door checks of residential buildings and surrounding areas to identify injured individuals.
