Ukrainian Red Cross donates hundreds of sleeping kits and blankets to Kyiv residents
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) continues to support Kyiv residents who were left in homes without heat as a result of recent Russian combined air attacks..
As reported on the official Facebook page of the Ukrainian Red Cross, the organization transferred 420 sleeping kits, 300 sets of bed linen and 940 warm blankets for residents of Kyiv’s Desnianskyi district.
In addition, with the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross and at the initiative of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, heating points have been set up in the district where people can warm up, rest and receive warm blankets.
At present, one of the most challenging situations in the capital is in the Desnianskyi district. Following the latest attacks, critical disruptions to electricity and heating supply have been recorded in this area.
