Kyiv to allocate funds for purchase of additional diesel fuel and gasoline for civil defense system – Klitschko
At its meeting on Tuesday, February 10, Kyiv City Council plans to approve a decision to purchase additional volumes of diesel fuel and gasoline for the capital's civil defense system and for units of the State Emergency Service (SES), said Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"Today, the Kyiv City Council must amend the city's target program for ensuring the capital's civil defense system's preparedness. These amendments provide for the purchase of additional diesel fuel and gasoline for storage in the city's reserves. They also provide fuel and lubricants for the State Emergency Service units that use electric generators to power Kyiv residents," he wrote on Telegram on Tuesday.
According to him, the program amendments also include funds for paying bonuses to employees of Kyiv Rescue Service involved in eliminating the consequences of enemy shelling.
