Ukraine for maintaining high dynamics of negotiation process and maximum acceleration of peace efforts – FM Sybiha
The Ukrainian side stands for maintaining high dynamics of the negotiation process, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha has stated, confirming agreements on the next round of peace negotiations.
As reported by an Interfax-Ukraine agency correspondent, Sybiha announced this at a press conference with his Austrian colleague in Kyiv on Friday.
"I once again confirm the interest of the Ukrainian side in maintaining high dynamics of the negotiation process and in the maximum acceleration of peace efforts," he said, answering a question from an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent on whether the next round of negotiations would take place next week.
According to the minister, each round of negotiations "ends with certain homework and results for the participants."
"Therefore, it is important that in the intervals before the next meetings, this homework is completed. And that the results are also implemented," Sybiha added.
The minister noted that Ukraine has realistic proposals that allow for progress in the peace process.
"Certainly, there is an agreement to hold the next round of negotiations, which is necessary to maintain this dynamics of peace efforts," the head of the MFA emphasized.
