Zelenskyy, von der Leyen discuss loan to support Ukraine, 20th sanctions package

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen discussed the approval of the loan to support Ukraine and other priority issues with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Just spoke with President of Ukraine Zelenskyy. We are focused on our shared priorities: conclude the adoption of the Ukraine Support Loan and of the 20th package of sanctions. We also discussed the wider impact of the developments in the Middle East on energy prices, on energy security and on availability of badly needed defence materials," von der Leyen wrote on social media X.
