ZNPP reconnected to two power lines after local ceasefire – IAEA
The Ferosplavna-1 330kV power line has been restored and reconnected to the ZNPP after repair works carried out under a local ceasefire brokered by the IAEA.
“ZNPP now again has two off-site power lines available, with Ferosplavna-1 restored after 23 days,” the agency said on X Thursday.
As reported, on February 10, Zaporizhia NPP once again lost contact with one of its two external power transmission lines: the 330 kV Ferosplavna-1 power line was disconnected. The IAEA assumed that this happened due to military actions near the distribution station operated by Zaporizhia TPP. As of February 21, the ZNPP was on one 750 kV Dniprovska power line.
The IAEA reported on another local ceasefire near the ZNPP to restore the operation of the 330 kV Ferosplavna-1 power line on February 27.
