In Dnipropetrovsk region, 42 km of roads equipped with anti-drone protection - defense minister
Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced that 42 kilometers of roads have been equipped with anti-drone protection in Dnipropetrovsk region.
"We continue to build anti-drone protection along the front line. Our goal is to strengthen the defense of frontline areas and ensure uninterrupted logistics for communities near the line of contact. Another result is that we have equipped 42 km of road with anti-drone protection in Dnipropetrovsk axis. This is an important logistics route near the front line," he wrote on Telegram.
According to him, a new construction method was used on the section.
"We ensured the passage of large-sized equipment with electronic warfare systems and passive anti-drone defense elements by increasing the height of the supporting structures to 7 meters. We also reinforced the structures of the supporting structures and intersections. The work on the section is 100% complete," the minister added.
Fedorov noted that anti-drone nets reduce the risk of enemy UAV attacks on transport, significantly increasing the safety of military personnel and ensuring the stable operation of frontline communities.
