Second round of local elections in Ukraine completes reset of Ukrainian administration - President Poroshenko
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said he is happy with the organization and outcome of the second round of the mayoral elections held in some Ukrainian cities on November 15. "The ballot count was completed the next day in the overwhelming majority of the cities where the second round of elections was conducted," the president said at the international anti-corruption conference in Kyiv on Monday.
He said these elections complete the reset of the Ukrainian administration.
Poroshenko also emphasized that "representatives of our democratic coalition won in the absolute majority of cities, both in the east and in the west [of Ukraine]."
