There’s no single enemy ship in Black Sea – General Staff
As of 7:00 on Wednesday, there are no ships of the Russian occupiers in the Black Sea, there is one enemy ship in the Sea of Azov, not a missile carrier.
As reported on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Wednesday, there are three enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, of which one is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
Over the past day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, 16 vessels passed through the occupied Kerch Strait towards the Sea of Azov, four of them were moving from the Bosphorus Strait, and 19 vessels towards the Black Sea, three of them continued to move towards the Bosphorus.
"The Russian Federation continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Human Life at Sea (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS)," the message says.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported the destruction of the patrol ship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation Sergei Kotov on the night of March 5, 2024. The fire damage of the enemy vessel was carried out in the territorial waters of Ukraine near the Kerch Strait.
