Former deputy head of President's Office Tymoshenko appointed advisor to defense minister
The press service of the former deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko confirmed his appointment to the post of advisor to Defense Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umerov from March 1, 2024.
“The main area of activity of Kyrylo Tymoshenko is media and communications, coordination of information policy in the Ministry of Defense and structures subordinate to the Ministry of Defense, as well as building a unified information agenda in the Defense Forces of Ukraine for the duration of martial law,” Tymoshenko’s press service said in a comment to Interfax-Ukraine.
Earlier, information appeared in the media that Tymoshenko has been holding the position of full-time adviser to the minister of defense since March 1, 2024, on the basis of the relevant order on his appointment.
