Presidents of Lithuania, Estonia call on NATO to strengthen military support for Ukraine after Russian massive attack

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and Estonian President Alar Karis, commenting on the massive Russian attack on Ukraine this morning, which in particular affected the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital (Kyiv), called for increased military support for Ukraine at the upcoming NATO summit in Washington.

“There's no line Russian terrorists wouldn't cross. To me, it's crystal clear what we as NATO have to do: scale up our support to Ukraine & make Russia understand that Ukraine’s future in the Alliance is irreversible,” Nauseda said on X.

The Estonian President stressed that joint military support for Ukraine, especially in the field of air defense, should be one of the results of the NATO summit.

“How to stop Russia’s arrows of terror, which are killing Ukrainians in their homes, hospitals for the third year? How can we help UA defend itself against RU’s aggression? United & strong military support for Ukraine, especially in air defence must be one outcome at NATO Summit,” Karis said on X.
