Zaluzhny assumes duties as Ukraine's Ambassador to UK – embassy
Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhny has assumed the duties of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the UK, the press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK said.
"Hero of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhny, presented copies of his credentials and assumed his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland," it said on Facebook on Thursday.
The Embassy of Ukraine will continue to work on strengthening bilateral relations with the UK in order to bring our victory in the war with Russia closer.
"We will make every effort to enhance political and economic support and protect the rights and interests of our citizens," it said.
