Ukrainian journalists and representatives of public organizations held a hackathon for children of military personnel in the summer camp Eco-Life ZBRUCH
Journalists of Ukrainian media and representatives of public organizations held a two-day hackathon for children of military personnel in the summer camp Eko-Life ZBRUCH in Khmelnytskyi region.
During the creative weekend, the camp guests talked about the peculiarities of the professions of correspondents, editors, operators and other important members of Ukrainian media teams, shared personal experiences and professional life hacks.
The teenagers were most interested in interactive activities from journalists: master classes during which participants had the opportunity to try themselves as interviewers, participate in quizzes, discussions and dialogues with journalists.
More than 40 creative and gifted children of our military from eight communities of Khmelnytskyi region gathered to listen to the stories of media representatives. Among them are participants and winners of school humanitarian competitions, leaders of school self-government.
The Hackathon was the final event of the 2024 season. This year, in the Eсo-Life ZBRUCH camp, master classes were already held by representatives of the Special Operations Forces, border guards, police officers, dog trainers, medics, doctors and cooks. Now journalists have been added to this list.
"We are extremely pleased that we managed to invite representatives of the Ukrainian mass media to our children. We are thankful to every media representative who shared their knowledge and valuable experience with our teenagers. Our plans are to gather the most active children based on the results of the weekend and organize excursions for them in the editorial offices of leading Ukrainian media, as well as create our own media for the children's camp," said Yaroslav Svyridivskyi, PR manager of the VITAGRO group of companies.
About the ZBRUCH Eco-Life project:
In 2022, on the banks of the Zbruch River in the Khmelnytskyi region a site was cleared and a recreation center for children of military personnel was built "from scratch". The project provides children with recovery and support during the war. And parents who perform tasks on the front lines know that there is someone to take care of their children. Active recreation, creative workshops and educational programs are organized at the center. In 2 years, the scale of the project has tripled. Eco-Life ZBRUCH is a project of the VITAGRO group of companies.
