September 13 — Kyiv runs for freedom! Registration is now open for the Run for Freedom with Timothy Snyder

This year, hundreds of Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine will once again take to the starting line to remind the world: every prisoner must return home. Registration for the annual advocacy run Run for Freedom is open — students of the Kyiv School of Economics and Professor Timothy Snyder initiate the event.

• When & where: September 13, Kyiv, Natalka Park

• Distances: 1 km, 5 km, or 10 km

• Organizers: KSE Foundation, DefDev, the national RECOVERY network of rehabilitation centers for wounded soldiers, and the Heart of Azovstal project supporting Mariupol’s defenders

For the second year in a row, Timothy Snyder — professor, UNITED24 ambassador, and a great friend of Ukraine — will personally join the run. Running for freedom will also be soldiers and veterans, former prisoners, families of those still in captivity, and everyone who stands with Ukraine in the call to bring its people home.

Participation is free of charge for soldiers, veterans, and families of prisoners. To receive a 100% discount promo code, please send an email with the subject line “Run for Freedom” to info@newrun.com.ua, attaching a photo/scan of your ID.

How to join #RunForFreedom:

• Choose your distance

• Register here: https://timer.newrun.com.ua/event/191

• Come to the starting line to remind the world about Ukrainian citizens — soldiers and civilians, men, women, and children — still held captive by Russia, and help bring them closer to home.

All funds raised from ticket sales (after covering organizational costs) will be directed by the KSE Foundation to support the Defense Forces, with a public report on the provided help.

We run for freedom. Will you?

Last year, over 1,000 Ukrainians participated in the Run for Freedom.
