Unlocking Ukraine’s Hidden Gem: United by Ukrainian Critical Minerals
On September 24, 2025, the first annual international forum, United by Mining, will be held in Kyiv. This event will bring together representatives of government, business, international organizations, and investors to discuss the future of Ukraine's resource economy.
The event is hosted by the National Extractive Industries Association of Ukraine, in partnership with the Commercial Department of the Embassy of the United States in Ukraine. It is also proudly supported by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – a long-standing and trusted advocate for Ukrainian business on the global stage.

Against the backdrop of the agreements signed between Ukraine, the USA, and the EU in the field of strategic raw materials and the joint development of deposits, the forum will become a key event for launching new projects, presenting investment opportunities, and forming long-term partnerships in the extractive, energy, construction, and metallurgical industries.
United by Mining is more than an industry forum. It is a platform for shaping a new model of resource cooperation, where Ukraine is not merely a supplier of raw materials, but a partner with the potential to shape the rules of the global market.
The mission of the forum is to create a modern partnership model between Ukraine and the world in the field of natural resources, founded on trust, sustainability, and a shared responsibility for the future.
The key objective of the forum is:
To create an open platform for dialogue among government, business, investors, and international partners with the aim of:
- Reimagining approaches to the development of Ukraine's resource potential;
- Modernizing the extractive industry with a focus on innovation and sustainability;
- Attracting strategic investors and long-term capital;
- Improving the regulatory environment to enable an industrial breakthrough.
The forum will serve as an entry point for global capital into critical sectors, including: lithium, titanium, gold, cobalt, graphite, tungsten, manganese, rare earth minerals, steel, cement, natural gas, oil, and more.
The forum's program encompasses four key themes:
- Ukraine's Strategic Potential: The launch of the Recovery Fund and the nation's role in the global supply chain.
- Synergy of the Extractive and Processing Industries to ensure Ukraine's defense capabilities.
- International Partnership: Mechanisms and successful case studies of Ukraine in the critical minerals sector.
- Defense hub. Synergy of the Extractive and Processing Industries to ensure Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
