Ukrainian team receives 126 licenses to participate in 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris
A total of 140 athletes in 17 sports will represent Ukraine in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris (France), the National Sports Committee for the Disabled of Ukraine reports.
"In total, the team received 126 licenses and will compete in Paris as part of 140 athletes [96 men and 44 women] in all 17 planned sports out of 22 presented in the program of the 2024 Paralympic Games," the Committee said in a statement.
Ukrainian athletes will compete in the following sports: track and field, powerlifting, judo, archery, table tennis, wheelchair fencing, shooting, swimming, rowing, cycling, goalball, canoeing, triathlon, badminton, taekwondo, bocha, and sitting volleyball.
As reported, the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris (France) will be held from August 28 to September 8.
