Ukraine to soon launch world's first national AI assistant providing govt services in Diia

In the near future, six new services will appear on the Diia portal, including an AI assistant that will provide consultations and government services, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced.
"We are now working on projects that will mark a revolutionary stage in the development of Digital Ukraine," he wrote on Telegram on Tuesday.
According to him, the following services will soon be launched in Diia.
"We will launch the world's first national AI assistant that will provide government services. The first service will be an income statement. Later, it will be possible to receive consultations and government services simply by typing a request in plain language into the chat," Fedorov said.
Via e-Notary Ukrainians will be able to access notary services online.
"Each year, Ukraine loses around UAH 30 billion in unpaid taxes on alcohol and tobacco. We will digitize the sector and replace the paper excise stamp with an electronic one. Ukrainians will be able to verify product legality in Diia by simply scanning the electronic stamp," Fedorov noted, speaking about e-Excise.
"Soon, Diia will feature a comprehensive service for servicemembers and their families – Path of the Wounded. The entire process will be online, with automatic interaction with government agencies. No queues, no document collection, no running around to different institutions," he said.
"We are launching beta testing of a service that has no analogues in other countries. It is a comprehensive tool that combines all social benefits into one. Applications will be submitted through Diia without paper bureaucracy," Fedorov wrote, speaking about Basic Social Assistance.
"Together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we are working to make it possible to order this document [Criminal Record Certificate with Apostille] in Diia with delivery. At present, it can only be obtained at one address in Kyiv – the new service will eliminate this inconvenience," the First Deputy Prime Minister said.
