Israeli Ambassador hands over water purification system for Uman hospital

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky, during his visit to the city of Uman, Cherkasy region, visited the Central City Hospital, met with the director of the institution Ivan Khoptyan and handed over a water purification system for the needs of the hospital. The ceremony was held with the participation of Uman Mayor Iryna Pletneva.
"Israel continues to provide assistance to Ukraine. By decision of Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, several water purification plants will be transferred to Ukraine in the near future. Today, such a plant began operating in Uman. Thanks to this, patients of the local hospital and residents of nearby buildings will be able to receive high-quality drinking water without interruption," Brodsky noted.
Diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Israel were established on December 26, 1991. The Embassy of Ukraine in Tel Aviv was opened in April 1992. The Israeli Embassy in Kyiv began operating in September 1992.
