Kruhliakivka in Kharkiv region was liberated from Russian forces, the operation lasted from October 7 to 14, the Russian losses in this operation were more than an infantry platoon, the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense said.

"Soldiers of the Brotherhood unit as part of the Timur Special Forces of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, with the support of the 77th separate airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, liberated and cleared the settlement of Kruhliakivka, Kupiansk district, from Russian occupiers," the agency said in the Telegram channel on Friday.

It is reported that the operation to regain control over the settlement, important for the defense of Kupyansk, lasted from October 7 to 14, 2024.

"The enemy resisted, tried to counterattack, but suffered a defeat – the scouts repelled the assault of the occupiers and continued to push out the enemy. Thanks to the professional and courageous actions of the Main Intelligence Agency special forces, the Russians in Kruhliakivka lost more than a platoon of infantry – the invaders were destroyed in close combat," the agency said.

In addition, the special forces captured Russian occupiers – important intelligence data was obtained, and the exchange fund was replenished.

"As a result of the operation, the enemy was driven out of the settlement, the occupiers' routes of movement were mined," the agency said.
