Subsidy to be retained for families who installed energy equipment worth up to UAH 150,000 – Shmyhal
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal instructed the Ministry of Social Policy to develop a solution that will allow not to cancel the subsidy for families who installed energy equipment worth up to UAH 150,000.
"We understand that the winter will be difficult, so we encourage citizens in every possible way to be energy resilient. In particular, to install alternative power sources and generation: solar panels, wind turbines, and energy storage devices. At the same time, people should not lose the right to a housing subsidy. Today, we instruct the Ministry of Social Policy to develop and submit to the government a corresponding draft resolution for consideration. It will be based on a simple and clear norm: if the cost of the installed energy equipment does not exceed UAH 150,000, the family will retain the subsidy," Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel.
The Prime Minister noted that the Ministry of Social Policy should also develop a mechanism by which the amount of the subsidy for electricity will not decrease even in the event of power supply interruptions.
