IMF mission arrives in Kyiv for 8th review of Extended Fund Facility – IMF

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission has arrived in Kyiv for the 8th review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) with Ukraine, which opened in the autumn of 2023.
"An IMF mission, led by Gavin Gray, has started policy discussions today in Kyiv with the Ukrainian authorities on the eighth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) Arrangement," IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Priscilla Toffano said in a statement.
As reported, the IMF completed the 7th review of the EFF at the end of March this year and allocated the 8th tranche of $0.4 billion to Ukraine. In accordance with Ukraine's request, the schedule of future tranches was reviewed: the 9th in June based on the results of the 8th review – from SDR 0.60 billion to SDR 0.37 billion, the 10th at the end of August – from SDR 0.40 billion to SDR 0.33 billion, the 11th at the beginning of December – from SDR 0.33 billion to SDR 0.79 billion, the 12th at the beginning of March 2026 – from SDR 0.70 billion to SDR 0.93 billion, and the 13th and 14th at the end of August 2026 and in March 2027 were left unchanged – SDR 0.75 billion and SDR 0.79 billion, respectively.
