Health Ministry to announce new tender for Okhmatdyt restoration in Kyiv
The Health Ministry of Ukraine will announce a new tender for the restoration of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, which was badly damaged during Russia's massive missile attack on Kyiv on July 8, 2024.
Health Minister of Ukraine Viktor Liashko told a Friday press conference in Kyiv that a new supervisory board was set up to develop criteria for the tender. The board will include, in particular, representatives of the major charities, which donated money for the clinic's restoration, as well as ministry officials.
The minister said he expected the first meeting of the supervisory board to be held at the end of next week.
The state enterprise Medical Procurement of Ukraine will be engaged in the tender, he said.
As reported, the Health Ministry announced additional inspections by law enforcers at Bud-Technology LLC, which won the first tender for the restoration of Okhmatdyt.
According to previous reports, charity funds raised more than UAH 800 million for the restoration of the clinic.
