Poroshenko hands over three Ai-Petri counter-intelligence complexes to units of Pivden operational command
Businessman, MP, leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, has handed over three complexes of countering Ai-Petri counter-intelligence systems to one of the units of the South operational command, the European Solidarity party said on its website on Friday.
"Every day the enemy insidiously attacks Ukraine with guided aerial bombs … Our complex of countering the enemy's technical intelligence has already proven itself as a good tool to combat these weapons," Poroshenko said.
According to him, there are already cases of successful neutralization of guided aerial bombs on the combat account of units working with Ai-Petri, therefore, the production of anti-technical reconnaissance complexes is constantly increasing.
"Three days ago, we handed over two complexes to the 206th Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy. Today we are transferring three more Ai-Petri to the Operational Command Pivden (South). We are trying to reach a record production volume. We must do everything to provide for the military," Poroshenko added.
As noted in the message, the pickups, transferring Ai-Petri to the brigades, are equipped with a six-lane electronic warfare system. The kit also includes charging stations, generators, and Starlinks.
A year ago, Poroshenko announced the investment of UAH 150 million in the development of the latest system for countering the means of technical intelligence Ai-Petri counter-intelligence systems. The project is being scaled and the amount of investments has already exceeded UAH 200 million. The state budget does not receive funds for the production of Ai-Petri.
