Diia offers a vehicle registration certificate replacement service for car owners

The Diia application has made available a service for replacing a vehicle registration certificate for car owners, which will be useful in case of loss or damage to the document, change of license plates or personal data, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said on Monday.

"The service will be useful in case of loss or damage to the document, change of license plates or personal data. How to use the service? Select the appropriate service and indicate the reason for replacing the vehicle registration certificate, if necessary, select new license plates; Select the type of vehicle registration certificate and delivery method, and confirm or update contact details, sign and pay for the application within 24 hours," the message on Telegram says.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs warns that in case of changes in the technical characteristics of the car (for example, engine capacity or type of fuel), you will need to contact the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the information, the service is available if you are over 18 years old, have a tax number and biometric document in Diia, as well as if you are the owner of a car and the technical passport is already displayed in the application.
