Air defense eliminates 311 of 331 drones, missiles launched by invaders at night

Air defense forces shot down and suppressed with electronic warfare means 311 air targets that the enemy launched over Ukraine on Monday night, in particular, 309 attack drones and two X-101 cruise missiles.

As the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on telegram, in total on the night of July 28 the enemy attacked Ukraine with 331 air attack means, in particular, 324 drones, four cruise missiles and three aeroballistic missiles. The main direction of the attack was the city of Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytsky region.

"The hits of two missiles of different types and 15 strike UAVs were recorded in three locations, as well as the fall of downed [fragments] - in several locations. The X-47 M2 aeroballistic missiles did not reach their targets!" the report says.

Last night, the air defense was able to neutralize one of the highest shares of air attack weapons launched by the enemy - 94%.

The highest percentage of neutralized drones and missiles was recorded on the night of July 9, when the enemy launched 729 drones and 13 missiles (a total of 741 targets, of which 303 were shot down and 415 were suppressed [a total of 718], which gave an efficiency of about 96.9%.)

Previously, on the night of June 9, the occupiers launched 499 air attack means (479 drones, 20 missiles), of which 292 were shot down and 187 were suppressed (a total of 479, an efficiency of about 96%).
