Svyrydenko shows diplomats damage from Russian attack on Cabinet building

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, together with two ministers, has informed 60 heads of diplomatic missions about the consequences of the Russian shelling and showed the floors of the Cabinet of Ministers building damaged by the attack.
"Together with Ihor Klymenko and Andriy Sybiha, we informed 60 heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Ukraine about the consequences of one of the largest Russian air attacks since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. We showed the floors of the Cabinet of Ministers building damaged by the Russian attack. The consequences are currently being eliminated here and work on covering the roof will begin soon," Svyrydenko said on Telegram.
According to her, for Ukraine, the attack means a new stage of the war, when the enemy actually doubled the number of Shahed UAVs during strikes on civilians and energy infrastructure on the eve of winter, and now it is also targeting state institutions.
"This is a clear signal that Russia does not want peace and openly mocks the diplomatic efforts of the civilized world. This is an existential war. Among those killed yesterday was a two-year-old child and a young mother. The Russians are killing our children, and therefore our future. We are grateful to all diplomats, your presence here this morning is a sign of support for us in our struggle for the existence of the state," she said.
As Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha later noted, foreign diplomats were briefed, focusing not on the government building but on the destruction and casualties caused by the recent massive Russian attack across Ukraine, including Kyiv, Sumy, Kremenchuk, Odesa, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Zaporizhia.
"We emphasized to our foreign colleagues that with such barbaric attacks, Russia is rejecting peace efforts and diplomacy. Therefore, to achieve peace, it is necessary to increase sanctions on Moscow and strengthen Ukraine. I am grateful to all the foreign diplomats who condemned Russian terror and affirmed their governments' readiness to take concrete steps to support our country and pressure Moscow," he said on X.
