Energy workers restore power supply to most of consumers left without power as result of massive attack on Sept 7 – Ukrenergo

As of Monday morning, energy workers managed to restore power supply to most of the consumers who were left without power as a result of the massive attack by the Russian Federation on the night of September 7.
"Last day, the enemy massively attacked energy facilities in several regions. As a result, there were local power disconnections of consumers. Emergency restoration work is ongoing, most of the consumers were already provided with power as of Monday morning," NPC Ukrenergo reported on Monday.
The system operator added that currently energy workers are doing everything possible to return the damaged equipment to operation as soon as possible.
In turn, as reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine on Monday, as of September 8, the power system is balanced, no planned restrictions for consumers are foreseen. At the same time, hourly outage schedules are applied in some regions due to damage to grid equipment.
In addition, according to the Ministry of Energy, one of the thermal generation facilities in Kyiv region was under massive shelling.
