Defense forces attack Russian positions on Pokrovsk axis – General Staff
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed the defeat of the Russian occupiers' command posts by the Defense Forces on the Pokrovsk axis in Donetsk region.
"The defeat of enemy personnel, including command personnel, has been confirmed. Let us recall that on September 8, 2025, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine inflicted a complex fire defeat on the command posts of the Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region," the report says.
It is noted that the Defense Forces hit the command posts of the Center group of forces (forces) and the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Russian Armed Forces. It is these enemy military formations that operate on the Pokrovsk axis, the General Staff emphasized.
"Prior to this, on August 28, the command posts of the Russian troops in this direction were visited by the Minister of Defense of the aggressor country, Andrey Belousov. Shortly after his visit, the indicated locations of the occupation army command were successfully hit. Strikes on these military targets significantly disrupt the command of units and subdivisions of the Russian Armed Forces," the General Staff said.
