Joint Forces Group assigned to Kharkiv region and surrounding areas

The new Joint Forces Group (JFG), created as a result of structural changes in the Ukrainian Defense Forces, will be led almost entirely by the Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, headed by Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, who previously commanded the operational-strategic groupings of troops Khortytsia and Dnipro.

Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Trehubov will be the spokesman for the JFG.

"The area of responsibility of our Command covers the Kharkiv region and adjacent territories. This complex and tense sector, which occupies one of the key places in the enemy’s plans, has been entrusted to General Drapaty for the second time," Trehubov said.
