Kostiuk appointed deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration
Head of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) Oleksandr Popov has introduced his new deputy, Mykhailo Kostiuk, the administration's press service reported on Monday.
Kyiv City Council Secretary Halyna Hereha signed an order appointing Kostiuk as KCSA deputy head on June 6.
Kostiuk (born in 1961) worked at Lviv Railways for a long time. In 2000-2005, he served as head of the main department of rail line industry at the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine (known as Ukrzaliznytsia) and head of the department of capital investment and domestic investment at NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy. In 2008-2011, Kostiuk worked as director general of Ukrzaliznytsia. In 2011-2013, he served as governor of Lviv region.
