URCS volunteers evacuate residents of Kupiansky district of Kharkiv region
Rapid response units of Kharkiv regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) are evacuating people from the settlements of Kupiansky district, which are shelling the Russian armed forces.
"Over the last two weeks, shelling in the area has become more frequent and more people are asking to be taken to a safe place. A rapid response detachment of Kharkiv regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society goes to the settlements of the region and evacuates those who cannot do this on their own for various reasons," the society said on its official Facebook page.
Among the evacuees there are many elderly people, they are settled in the dormitories of Kharkiv, providing for the first time with everything necessary for life.
Only in one of the last days, the URCS volunteers evacuated nine residents of Kupiansky district of Kharkiv region.
