Experts Club holds first aid seminar for journalists, bloggers

1 min read

The Experts Club analytical center, with the support of the Adonis Medical Center, organized a seminar on first medical (pre-medical) aid for journalists and bloggers.

As the Experts Club reported in its press release, the seminar included lectures and practical exercises that prepare participants for effective actions in extreme situations. It also aimed to equip them with first aid skills for those whose work occurs in risky conditions.

During the seminar, anesthesiologist Marianna Boluk introduced familiarized participants, in particular, with methods for stopping bleeding, applying tourniquets and maintaining vital signs.

"War has significantly increased the risks for journalists, so developing first aid skills should be part of their professional growth. Our colleagues are constantly exposed to risk and carry great responsibility. Therefore, we strive to provide them not only with information, but also with the tools for saving lives," Maksym Urakin, the founder of the Experts Club, said.

He said that the Experts Club plans to conduct similar training also for representatives of other professions associated with increased risk during wartime.
