Nova Poshta places bond issue for UAH 1 bln
Nova Poshta LLC, the largest logistics operator in Ukraine from the NOVA group, has fully placed an issue of interest-bearing unsecured bonds of series E with a total nominal value of UAH 1 billion.
According to a statement by the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine, it registered the report on the results of the issuance on July 4, while the initial registration of the issuance was on April 26 of this year.
The state-owned Oschadbank (Kyiv) announced on May 21 that it had signed an agreement with Nova Poshta to purchase Series E bonds with a 15-month maturity for UAH 650 million. This was already the third deal since 2019 for financing Nova Poshta through the acquisition of corporate bonds by the state bank.
"Thanks to the attracted financing, Nova Poshta can actively invest in development and improve operational processes, quickly recover after infrastructure shelling, and our clients can continue receiving quality services," said Serhiy Yermolenko, Director of Corporate Finance at NOVA Group.
As reported, on April 26, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission also registered the issuance of series F bonds amounting to UAH 1 billion, but information on the results of this issuance is not yet available.
According to the 2023 report, the public offering of series E bonds started on February 19 this year, and series F on March 19, with their respective maturities on February 18 and March 18, 2027.
In 2023, Nova Poshta issued two bond series – C and D – each with a nominal volume of UAH 800 million. Series C bonds were issued for 12 months with an annual rate of 24%, while series D bonds were for 20 months with an annual rate of 23%.
Earlier, in February 2023, Nova Poshta redeemed series B bonds issued in March 2020 for UAH 700 million.
