Lithuania transferring ammunition, drones and rollaway beds to Ukraine – Defense Ministry
A new batch of military aid from Lithuania arrived in Ukraine on Thursday, July 11, including drones, 5.56 x 45 mm cartridges and clamshells for the Ukrainian army.
According to the Lithuanian Defense Ministry, in response to Ukraine's requests this year, Lithuania has already supplied 155 mm ammunition, M577 armored personnel carriers, M113 armored personnel carriers, drone protection systems, winter equipment and warm clothing kits, ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher, RISE-1 remote detonation systems, generators, a partially disassembled light attack aircraft L-39ZA Albatros and other help.
Lithuania provides Ukraine with long-term support in the amount of EUR 1 billion, provided Ukraine with military assistance in the amount of about EUR 641 million.
"About EUR 115 million have already been provided this year, and we hope that this trend will continue," the ministry said.
