Arricano invests in restoration of Sun Gallery shopping center, development of four trade centers
The leading Ukrainian developer of shopping centers Arricano Real Estate Plc continues to invest in the restoration of the Sun Gallery shopping center in Kryvy Rih after the missile attack in January 2024 and in the development of four of its shopping centers, the company's press service reported.
"The summer season was extremely productive for the Arricano group of companies in Ukraine, despite all the challenges … The vacancy rate in Kyiv properties remains at 0%, in the City Mall shopping center in Zaporizhia - 1.2%, in the Sun Gallery shopping center in Kryvy Rih - 0.8%, and the tenant mix consists of leading Ukrainian retailers and lovemark brands,” said Anna Chubotina, CEO of Arricano Real Estate (Ukraine).
It is also noted that in June, Arricano Real Estate (Ukraine) changed the anchor grocery operator in the Sun Gallery shopping center and the City Mall shopping center to Silpo supermarkets.
In the summer, Arricano introduced new tenants to all complexes. In particular, the capital's Prospekt shopping center in June added a Gremio Grill bar to its food court, and in July, a Munchen men's and women's footwear store opened in the shopping center, and in August — Merezhka and Monpacie.
The RayON shopping center in Kyiv opened new food court operators - Lviv Croissants and Salatino. In addition, Aurum, Yabluka, Goldi, Solmar, as well as the K77S corner also began working here. On the eve of the autumn season, the Biotus vitamin store opened in the shopping center RayON.
In the Sun Gallery shopping center, restored after the missile strike on Kryvy Rih in January 2024, such brands as LC Waikiki, Comfy, Allo, Colin's, Intertop, Budynok Ihrashok, Olko, Eva, Vensi, Kapitoshka, Flex, K-Beauty Heaven, Sushi take out, Bonjour Cava, Aptekar, Vintage have already resumed their work and a new Broxci store has begun working.
In late August, the Puma store resumed operations in the City Mall shopping center, and a new bag store, My Factory, opened.
The company said Sinsay would open in the Sun Gallery shopping center in the fall. In the fall, the updated and modernized food court area, which was most damaged by the shelling, will resume operations. Arricano, together with Ukrainian designers, developed a new project for the design of this location.
As reported, investments in the renovation of frontline shopping centers and the restoration of the Sun Gallery shopping center exceeded UAH 51 million.
"Arricano is working to ensure that all operators of the Sun Gallery shopping mall resume their work as soon as possible, so I am confident that we will share good news with you before the end of the year,” Chubotina noted.
Among the brands that will open soon, the company named Athletics, Issa, and Isei.
As for the other shopping centers, the City Mall shopping center will feature the Citrus brand of gadgets and accessories in the new season, the Prospekt shopping center will open a Ksuu Store corner, as well as Lesia, Kiko Milano, and Vito Torelli stores.
The press release emphasizes that all shopping centers of the Arricano group of companies in Ukraine also operate when the city power grid is disconnected.
Arricano Real Estate Plc (Cyprus) specializes in the construction of shopping and entertainment centers and is one of the leading developers in the Ukrainian real estate market. It owns and manages five shopping centers in the country with a total area of 147,600 square meters, including RayON and Prospekt in Kyiv, Sun Gallery in Kryvy Rih, and City Mall in Zaporizhia. The company also owns 49.9% in the Sky Mall shopping center (Kyiv) and land plots for the further construction of three facilities that are at the design stage. According to Opendatabot, Arricano Real Estate Plc's income for 2023 amounted to UAH 36.156 million, which is 52.8% higher than the results of 2022. The company's net profit increased by 2.28 times - to UAH 7.168 million.
