Kuleba thanks Blinken for his support and cooperation
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, who submitted his resignation, in response to a phone call from U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in turn, thanked him for close and fruitful cooperation, as well as for "unconditional support for Ukraine."
“I was pleased to receive a call from Secretary Blinken. I thanked Secretary Blinken for his ironclad support for Ukraine since the onset of Russia’s full-scale aggression. An impeccable diplomat, he has been at the forefront of many groundbreaking decisions, most notably those aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense,” Kuleba said on X Thursday.
“I am grateful for the years of collaboration that grew into a close friendship,” Kuleba stressed.
According to his assessment, “the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the US is crucial for maintaining stability in the Euro-Atlantic area and the future of democratic Ukraine.”
Earlier it was reported that Blinken thanked Kuleba by phone for his leadership of foreign policy.
As reported, on Wednesday morning, the Verkhovna Rada received a statement from Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba on his resignation, on Thursday, a vote in parliament on this issue is expected to take place.
