Cabinet approves draft agreement with Poland on activities of BGK in Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft agreement between Ukraine and the Republic of Poland on the activities of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) in Ukraine.

Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk on Telegram on Tuesday said the relevant decision was made at a government meeting on Monday.

In particular, according to the agreement, it is stipulated that Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego will be able to carry out activities on the territory of Ukraine, in particular, to provide the government of the country, state and private institutions and organizations with financial and technical assistance in the form of loans or other financial instruments, such as export support, grants or guarantees for the implementation of projects for the recovery and development of Ukraine, which will be determined in cooperation between the government of Ukraine, the government of Poland and the bank.
