Russian UAV attack damages URCS building in Chernihiv region
Russian UAVs have damaged the building of the Koryukivka branch of the Chernihiv Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS).
On the night of November 23, as a result of the Russian UAV hitting the Children's Creativity Center in the city of Koryukivka, surrounding buildings were also damaged: windows were broken, facades were damaged. The building of the Koryukivka branch of the Chernihiv Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross was also damaged. None of the employees and volunteers were injured. The shock wave broke out windows, doors and damaged the office premises," URCS said.
After the attack by enemy UAVs, a rapid response unit, together with volunteers and employees of the Koryukivka branch of the URCS, quickly left for the scene. People were provided with everything necessary for temporary repairs (tarpaulin, OSB boards), as well as emergency response kits and blankets.
URCS said that attacks on employees and institutions of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement are a gross violation of international humanitarian law and qualify as war crimes.
